David has spent the last six years building and evaluating software. After learning to build elegant interfaces at Obvious Corporation during the early development of Medium from the founders and early technical leads of Twitter and Gmail, David was inspired to follow his own entrepreneurial path.
He left his studies in Computer Science and Linguistics at NYU to start Bowery, a cloud-based software development environment that saved their enterprise customers countless hours. After raising $1.6 million and growing to a team of eight over two years, the Bowery team was acquired by Bloomberg LP. David joined DigitalOcean as one of their first Product Managers running the Insights team, which built infrastructure for collecting and querying petabytes of time series data across hundreds of thousands of customers and millions of virtual machines.
As the Product Lead for 1QBit, David currently works with the software, professional services, and research teams to architect the delivery of quantum-inspired products and services through the cloud.
When David is not building microservices you’ll find him exploring BC’s many ski hills and après-ski haunts.
