Maliheh Aramon is the Optimization Research Lead for the Machine Learning and Quantum Inspired Optimization division. Her work focuses on developing algorithms and tools for solving business problems.
In the past four years, she has been busy leveraging the strengths of classical optimization algorithms as well as novel computational technologies such as D-Wave’s quantum annealer, Fujitsu’s digital annealer, and Microsoft quantum-inspired optimization algorithms to solve problems for clients in the fields of life sciences, energy, and finance.
Maliheh received her PhD in Operations Research from the University of Toronto in 2014 on the topic of optimization under uncertainty. The relationship between Ethics, Science, Religion, and Social Responsibility has been an intriguing topic for Maliheh and she spent her free time educating herself on this topic.
