Ugur Yildiz

Operations Research Scientist

Ugur obtained his undergraduate and Master’s degrees in Industrial Engineering from TOBB University of Economics and Technology, in Turkey. In his Ph.D., he studied data-driven large-scale optimization at the University of Waterloo. He defined an optimization problem to improve order consolidation process in e-warehousing. He currently focuses on harnessing the power of quantum computing to solve real-life problems faster. Ugur loves watching movies and having conversations with his friends about interesting topics. Outside of work, he spends his time exploring Vancouver.
