Farhad Khosravi

Farhad is a quantum optics and photonics scientist at 1QBit. His main focus is finding applications for the emergent optical quantum computing devices. He received his PhD in electrical engineering from thebUniversity of Alberta. His thesis is a foundational work on the role of angular momentum in light-matter interactions; pushing the frontiers in quantum spin photonics.

Farhad is also a musician, playing the santur (Iranian hammered dulcimer). Having recorded and released two full-length music albums, he promotes, composes, and studies music during his free time.
